You do not have to buy a course to prepare. Below are the free, official resources for this credential — every link is the vendor's or certifying body's own page, sourced and dated. We tell you plainly where the free path is complete and where it stops.

Free-path rating: Partial free path. The objectives and a free official intro (or a free lab) are available, but the vendor's full exam-prep course is paid — the free path gets you started, not all the way.

1. Start from the exam objectives / outline — it is the exact list of what the exam tests, and it is free. Study against it, not against a course's table of contents.

2. Work the free official course(s) above to build the skills, and use the official free practice where it exists to check yourself.

3. The exam fee is the one cost you cannot avoid — verify the current price on the vendor's official exam page before budgeting.

Free resources reduce what you spend to study; they do not reduce the exam fee and do not guarantee a pass. A course is not the certification.
