What is DevOps?
Combining development and operations to deliver software faster — the AWS definition.
What it means
AWS defines DevOps as "the combination of cultural philosophies, practices, and tools that increases an organization's ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity."
It is a way of working (and a role — DevOps Engineer) more than a single tool: it blends software development with IT operations, automation, and cloud. It usually builds on coding, systems, and cloud fundamentals.
Definitional only.
